Benefits of a blog

I read the other day in an education magazine called The Journal that blogging helped improved students writing in k-12 students. They use it as a stepping stone to help students write a final paper for there class. Students found it easier to writer there final paper. With that in mind I have decided to use blogging as venue to help voice my opening and to help improve my own writing skills and perhaps my blog can be used for historical purposes for my offspring when ever they become of age. Of course I only have one sun at the current time.
